Digital TreaZure - Company Story

Digital TreaZure began as a solution to a common marketing problem: finding a way to make advertising not only more effective but more engaging. The idea sparked from the frustration of investing in traditional marketing methods that yielded low returns and could only reach limited, predefined audiences. I realized that targeting specific demographics often overlooked potential customers who might be genuinely interested but were not included in the strategy. I envisioned a platform that would be fun, interactive and open to everyone.

The concept drew inspiration from popular, engaging apps like Pokemon Go, where users explore and interact with their surroundings. I wanted to create a marketing tool that allowed users to discover rewards, discounts and giveaways in a fun, game-like experience, all while promoting local and national businesses. By combining real-world exploration with immersive marketing, businesses could reach new audiences, and users could enjoy the thrill of discovery.

This idea started forming in 2021, but in early 2023, I decided to go all-in. I quit my job, despite limited resources, and dedicated myself to bringing this vision to life. It was a leap of faith, and was the beginning of Digital TreaZure: an app designed to turn marketing into an exciting adventure.

 

How We Evolved

In the beginning, the project was scattered and my time was stretched thin between a full-time job and working on Digital TreaZure at night. The idea was there, but finding the time and structure to develop it was a challenge. Balancing family life and the demands of a 60 hour work-week made it difficult to progress quickly. Still, I kept pushing forward, working on the concept, the website and figuring out the best ways to execute the project.

When I made the pivotal decision to quit my job in 2023, I was finally able to fully commit to Digital TreaZure. That’s when things started to come together. I realized that building a strong team of talented individuals was essential to success. I brought in experts in software development and design, UI/UX optimization, marketing and social media management, business development and others, all with the goal of building a user-friendly platform for businesses to run their campaigns effortlessly. The platform would offer everything in one place-analytics, ROI tracking and creative tools, allowing businesses to thrive, especially in their early stages.

Digital TreaZure is designed for everyone. Our platform doesn’t limit businesses to specific demographics or restrict growth by narrowly targeting customers. Instead, our audience is intentionally omnidirectional, allowing businesses to connect with a broad array of potential customers. My Aha Moment


The “aha” moment for Digital TreaZure came when I realized that marketing didn’t have to be dull or intrusive. Why not make it fun? This was the breakthrough, changing the way people perceive advertising. I wanted to create something where users wouldn’t just skip ads or delete emails but would actively engage because they enjoyed the experience.

The massive success of apps like Pokemon Go showed me the incredible power of gamification. People love running around, catching Pokemon, and interacting with their surroundings. This brought to mind the childhood nostalgia of scavenger hunts: something fun, exciting and rewarding. That’s when I knew that we could create a platform that blends marketing with adventure. Imagine users exploring their towns, visiting local businesses and earning rewards along the way.

As Digital TreaZure grows, our goal is to give back to the community through partnerships with non-profits, state parks and local initiatives.
